REMER is an Italian family factory on its third generation in the field of steel wire ropes.Our company is made by tradition and innovation, it's a dynamic company that is on the market since the beginning of the 20th century, producing steel wire ropes directly in our plants, completing all stages of the production process from drawing of the steel wires (of Italian and European origin) to stranding and closing the rope, and if necessary the application of end fittings. According to our customers' needs, the strands can be compacted or not, the rope can be plastified inside (EPIWRC) or outside, or painted. It is a tailor made production according to our customers needs. We operate in our industrial plant in San Benedetto del Tronto (Italy) staffed by 40 qualified people working full time. In order to guarantee the respect of quality standards, in our technical laboratory we test wires and ropes chemically, mechanically and Actual Breaking Load through destructive tests on our testing batches.Manufacturing process is computerized in order to ensure the traceability of our ropes from the wires to the final product.Our Quality System has been certified by several third parts Certification bodies such as RINA (ISO 9002 in 1998; ISO 9001 in 2000; ISO 9001 - 2015 in 2018, in 2021); American Petroleum Institution (IAPI Monogram Licence No. 9A/0076 in 2009); Lloyd's Register Certificate of Production in 2012, Bureau Veritas Certificate for Gearless Elevator Ropes 8x19W-IWRC diameter 6,5 mm in 2022.Our range of steel wire ropes is very wide:Made by ungalvanized, galvanized (Class A/AB/B), zinc/aluminium and stainless steel, with tensile strength from 1370 N/qmm up to 2350 N/qmm, we produce ropes from 3mm to 3 inches diameter (76.20mm).
